Marvel is about to make the leap into Netflix with an original series starring Daredevil. Matt Murdock (his alter ego) is one of Marvel’s most enduring and gripping characters with a huge history and even a movie in his past but it’s an all-new start for The Man Without Fear.

Here’s what you need to know about the crusading attorney by day and masked vigilante by night to be ready for the Netflix series when it’s ready for download on April 10th:

Matt Murdock was raised by single father in Hell’s Kitchen of New York City. “Battling” Jack Murdock was a boxer who pushed his son to focus on education, a life of non-violence and to be a better man. RIP HUNTER & HAWKGIRL In ARROW/FLASH Spinoff

We may know which superheroes will be joining the Arrow/Flash spinoff.

Ciara Renee has been cast as Kendra Saunders aka Hawkgirl according to Deadline.

According to the report, this version of Hawkgirl is a young woman “who is just beginning to learn she’s been reincarnated over the centuries. When provoked, her ancient warrior persona manifests itself, along with wings that grow out of her back.”

Shayera Hall is another version of the character and crimefighting partner/lover of Hawkman of Thanagar.
