We’ll never miss a chance to ask for Zatanna to be conjured into a movie or television series.

With the announcement that Matt Ryan will reprise his role as John Constantine on Arrow this season, we’re curious if the Hellblazer and Ollie Queen will need more supernatural support.

We already picked Zatanna on our list of heroes to appear in the Justice League movies but alas it’s not likely.

ALFRE WOODARD As LUKE CAGE Villain?

Has Marvel found their villain for the Luke Cage Netflix show?

Alfre Woodard has joined the cast of Marvel’s Luke Cage according to Deadline as a character named Minetta, “a powerful woman in politics who will have an impact on Cage’s life” but the story reports she will actually be based on Black Mariah, a drug dealer who often clashed with Cage and Iron Fist in the comics.

No official word on the casting on potential character.

MARVEL’S MOST WANTED, MOCKINGBIRD Pilot Flies Again?

ABC is closing a deal to produce a pilot for an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars  starring Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood according the Variety.

Palicki and Blood as agent Barbara “Bobbi” Morse and Blood as mercenary Lance Hunter would star in Marvel’s Most Wanted.

ABC put a halt to the pilot earlier this year.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski co-created the project for Marvel and ABC Studios, co-writing the pilot. They will serve as showrunners and exec producers together with Marvel head of television Jeph Loeb also exec producing.

The Inhuman invasion continues!

 Marvel announced writers Charles Soule and James Asmus, artist Stefano Caselli will launch All-New Inhumans this December.

The new book features the return of Crystal with a new look as her classic locks have been cut. Medusa’s sister will lead a team including Gorgon, Flint, Naja, and Grid. The squad will investigate mysterious “Skyspears” popping up around the globe. The mystery objects cause an Inhuman’s power levels to spike when in their proximity.

THE FLASH Reveals First Look at JAY GARRICK

The CW unveiled a first look at Teddy Sears as original Flash Jay Garrick on a comic book inspired homage to a classic issue.

Sears in Garrick’s iconic helmet and Grant Gustin are speeding side by side with their comic cover counterparts.

This image is a tribute to The Flash #123, the 1961 issue by Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson.
