What do you need to know before the latest hero joins the Marvel universe on Netflix?

Finn Jones has been cast as Danny Rand in the Marvel Netflix Iron Fist series according to EW. The upcoming series along with others starring Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones will lead to a team-up Defenders limited series.

As a boy, Danny joined his parents on a search for the mystical city of K’un L’un in the Himalayas. The tragic expedition led to Danny being raised by the city’s leader where he grew up to be a martial arts master and wielder of the mystical force (the Iron Fist) which allows him to summon and focus his chi. WRATH of AZRAEL on GOTHAM

The Wrath of the Villains is coming then Gotham returns for a second half of season two.

Producers confirmed Azrael is coming and are giving hints about how the warrior of vengeance will be portrayed on the before Batman prequel series.

In the Fall finale, the Order of St. Dumas failed in their plot to seize Gotham City and destroy the last surviving Wayne. The Order’s Theo Galavan died.

Azrael is a title passed down in the brotherhood. This “Angel of Death” enforces The Order’s agenda and executes its vengeance.

In the comics, an adult Batman faced Azrael (Jean Paul Valley) who became an independent anti-crime crusader and even was Batman.

Hailing Frequencies!

Earth’s headquarters for science fiction and pop culture will stage a 50th Anniversary Star Trek exhibition. From ships of the line to Starfleet style worn by legendary actors and even the props that were ahead of their time – set phasers for awesome as the Seattle institution goes warp factor fun.

EMP Museum announced the opening of a new exhibition, Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds, as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the iconic franchise. The fully immersive exhibition, under license by CBS Consumer Products, will showcase Star Trek’s significant impact on culture, society, arts, sports, technology and fashion, and feature more than 100 rare artifacts, set pieces, and props from the television series, spinoffs, and films. SUPER SURPRISE CAMEO on THE FLASH

A cameo so quick  you might have missed it.

Barry Allen, Cisco Ramon and the mirror/mirror version of Harrison Wells traveled to Earth 2 on an action packed new episode of The Flash.

We already knew we would see Killer Frost and Deathstorm (Danielle Panbaker, Robbie Amell as their Earth counterparts) in a rival world living under the threat of Zoom but we saw some DC cameos on the journey.

DOWNTON ABBEY Star Joins LEGION

A Downton Abbey veteran plays the title character based on Professor Xavier’s son.

Marvel announced Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza and Jean Smart (Fargo) have joined the cast of the pilot for Legion.

Here are the official descriptions of characters.

DAVID (Dan Stevens) – Diagnosed as schizophrenic at a young age, David is a haunted man, trying to find his way back to sanity, but he’s getting tired and is about to give up when he meets the girl of his dreams.

LENNY (Aubrey Plaza) – David’s friend, who despite a life of drugs and alcohol abuse, knows that any day now her life is gonna turn around, which gives Lenny the likeable energy of the impossible optimist despite her rough demeanor. Continue reading DOWNTON ABBEY Star Joins LEGION

The World’s Fastest Man Alive is speeding over to a new network. The Flash is racing to National City to meet Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).

AGENT CARTER’S LIFE BEFORE CAPTAIN AMERICA REVEALED

Before Camp Lehigh, Project Rebirth and Steve Rogers, before the Strategic Science Reserve and S.H.I.E.L.D. – the past of Peggy Carter revealed in the latest episode of Agent Carter.

Producers made one of Marvel’s most compelling heroes even richer by sharing her tragic past before we met her in Captain America: The First Avenger.

We learned about a tragedy from Peggy’s past that made her become the famous agent loved and lost Captain America.
