Morena Baccarin is a shining sci-fi star among a galaxy of celebrity guests appearing at Fan Expo Vancouver this weekend. Fans packed a ballroom Friday evening for the chance to ask questions with Baccarin and lined up today for autographs and to express their endless devotion to Firefly.

 

After Firefly the series and Serenity the movie Baccarin went on to roles on V, Stargate S.G. One and the acclaimed drama Homeland. After playing the heroine Inara she left the Firefly ship to invade Earth as the evil Anna on V.  I asked if the shift to the dark side of sci-fi was on purpose. ROGUE In X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Fans were upset with news Anna Paquin had been cut from X-Men: Days of Future Past. According to Vulture – Paquin (as Rogue) was never completely cut from the sequel and it pivotal to a major moment in the plot of the time travel story.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is coming fast on the horizon. X-Men: Apocalypse is slated for 2016. The Wolverine sequel is clawing into theaters after that. Producers have started talking the possibilities of more X-Men solo spinoff  movies including Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.

 

The fuel to a Gambit movie fire are lit up again after the MTV Movie Awards. Channing Tatum told MTV he’s met with Producer Lauren Schuler Donner and again expressed his love for Remy Labeau, the mutant played by Taylor Kitsch in X-Men: Origins: Wolverine.

SEATTLE CINERAMA SCI-FI FILM FESTIVAL 2014

Sci-fi fans should make warp speed to Emerald City for an amazing line-up of films and iconic guest stars. Paul G. Allen’s iconic Seattle Cinerama Theater will host its second annual Science Fiction Festival from May 1-12, with 12 days of special programming.

 

The festival will be highlighted by the world premiere of Douglas Trumbull’s short film, UFOTOG, along with screening of over three dozen of the genre’s most beloved movies and celebrity appearances by Jonathan Frakes, Tom Skerritt, and Sam J. X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Final Trailer

The final trailer X-Men: Days of Future Past is here following an action packed clip revealed at the MTV Movie Awards.

 

The epic battle scene showcased Kitty Pryde, Iceman and Colossus with new mutants Bishop, Sunspot, Warpath and a lot of Blink unleashing her teleporting powers as a swarm of Sentinels attacked.

 

Fox revealed the final trailer for the sequel that unites the cast of the original X-Men trilogy and X-Men: First Class. Based on the Chris Claremont story – DOFP shows an apocalyptic future in which mutants are hunted and in constant war with robots called Sentinels. Wolverine in sent back in time to recruit a younger Professor X, Magneto and Mystique to change history and save the mutant and human race.
