A new hero joins the Superman vs. Batman movie. Let the speculation begin.

Ray Fisher will play Cyborg in the untitled Man of Steel sequel.  Could it mean the Superman (Henry Cavill) vs. Batman (Ben Affleck) film could be the foundation for a New 52 version of a Justice League film?

Gal Gadot is playing Wonder Woman. Is Cyborg a major fourth heroic role or a supporting character Warner Brothers has bigger (or should I say Titanic) plans for? Continue reading CYBORG SUPERHERO MOVIE FUTURE

Joss Whedon is talking about the evil artificial intelligence Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will fight in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

“I’m having a blast with Ultron. He’s not a creature of logic — he’s a robot who’s genuinely disturbed. We’re finding out what makes him menacing and at the same time endearing and funny and strange and unexpected, and everything a robot never is,” the director says in an upcoming 300th issue of Empire Magazine.

Ultron (played by James Spader) is just one of the villains the Avengers will take on in the sequel. Continue reading JOSS WHEDON On AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Villains

Guardians of the Galaxy #14 features three stories that might make you wish for three Guardians books and inspire sequel dreams for the movie that isn’t even out yet.
The double-sized anniversary issue marks the 100th issue starring the cosmic Avengers. In the marquee story by writer Brian Michael Bendis and new artist Nick Bradshaw (Wolverine and the X-Men) with Jason Masters and Todd Nauck, three arcs act like a spiral star converging into a big cliffhanger.

Flash Thompson aka Agent Venom is the new envoy from the Avengers. Drax takes Flash on a rite of passage in a seedy galactic underbelly that Greedo or Han Solo would feel right at home in. I’m intrigued at how the aliens react to seeing the earth man bonded to the infamous symbiote. Continue reading GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #14 Review

Anna Paquin reprised her role as Rogue in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Then came rumors the fan-favorite mutant was cut from the film and now she may have a cameo.

Producer Simon Kinberg took questions at WonderCon this past weekend about the upcoming film. Kinberg tells CraveOnline about the Rogue storyline that might have been:

“It’s kind of a hard question. We shot with Anna [Paquin] a big subplot in the movie and we watched it in the movie and then we cut it out of the movie because, she’s great in it and it was well shot, it just didn’t fit the film. Continue reading X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Producer On ROGUE Role
