David Haller may be one of the most unlikely members of the X-Men mythos to get his own television series. In comics Professor Xavier’s son sufferers from multiple personalities each in control of one of his multiple mutant powers.

The Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 2 Big Game Spot was big on action and character. The futuristic sequel featured a classic 1970’s throwback – this time with a Fleetwood Mac soundtrack!

Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Baby Groot will be joined by new addition Mantis. The trailer sure makes it look like villains Yondu and Nebula may become Guardians? Plus, a got a first look at a new important alien.

BLACK PANTHER Movie Begins Production

Marvel Studios announced today that production is underway on Black Panther, revealed the official synopsis and confirmed new cast members.

Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, with Academy Award nominee Angela Bassett, with Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.

Boseman reprises his role as T’Challa, King of Wakanda, after his first Marvel film appearance in Captain America: Civil War. Freeman is back as Everett K. Ross. Andy Serkis played Ulysses Klaw in Avengers: Age of Ultron. This character was a smuggler/mercenary who escaped from Wakanda. In the comics Klaw is a mortal enemy of T’Challa. No powers, no problem. These characters are some of the most iconic and breakthrough women in comics.

They don’t have super powers but they are powerful in the careers in the DC and Marvel Universes.

We decided to honor these female characters without powers, costumes or code-names.

We love Batwoman, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, The Spoiler and Elektra but we are focusing on the strong women of science, government, law and order and strong in character.
