Happy Birthday to a Living Legend.

 

Adam West is 86 today.

 

For generations of comic book fans, the Batman series of the 1960’s was our “in” to the wonderful world of comic book superheroes. I still remember running off the school bus to catch reruns of the classic show before I did my homework.

The Merc With a Mouth is going back to the movies.

 

Twentieth Century Fox and Marvel announced a release date for a Deadpool solo movie according to The Hollywood Reporter. The X-Men spinoff is scheduled for February 12, 2016 and will be directed by Tim Miller.

 

No word on if Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Wade Wilson. Reynolds played the mutant mercenary in X-Men: Origins: Wolverine and Scott Adkins played the character after his Weapon X engineered transformation into Deadpool.  This announcement comes after test footage leaked online. Cory Michael Smith plays Edward Nygma on the upcoming Fox series set after the murder of Bruce Wayne’s parents. The theater breakout is breaking into comics culture history by helping share the back story of an infamous villain.

Legendary creator Jim Starling is crafting a Clash of Titans!

 

Marvel announced Thanos vs. Hulk, a four issue limited series written and drawn by Starlin.
