Confession:

This lifelong comic book fan has never cosplayed for a comicon or Halloween.
Last Halloween I did an impromptu Cyclops with a genetically altered with X-Men gear track jacket and a pair of visors that would impress Scott Summers.

Back to the Future for a cosmic reunion this week.

 

Before Yondu was a bounty hunter played by Michael Rooker he was a crusading alien archer from the 30th century.

 

Star-Lord, Gamora. Rocket, Groot and Drax may have conquered the world at the movies but some old school fans still have a place in their heart for the first Guardians.

A huge year for Bucky Barnes takes a dark turn.

 

Bucky made a dramatic comeback on the big screen in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and stole the show with a critical role in Marvel’s big comics event Original Sin.

Emerald City Comicon announces a new celebrity guest with a super background among comic book fans.

 

Brandon Routh will appear at the big event March 27-29, 2015 in Seattle.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST ROGUE Cut

An extended version of X-Men: Days of Future Past is coming in early 2015 with ten minutes of extra footage added including scenes with Anna Paquin as Rogue.

 

The film united the cast of the first trilogy with the First Class cast and introducing brand new mutants.

 

A sequence featuring the fan-favorite was cut from the final theatrical version of the sequel except for a brief cameo.

 

“It’s a big chunk, a substantial part of the movie,” writer/producer Simon Kinberg told Variety.  “We want to give (fans) the fullest picture of the film — behind the camera, and in front of it,” with the “Rogue Cut” and provide “more of the process we went through” to make the film. BRYAN SINGER Confirmed To Direct X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Bryan Singer will return to direct X-Men: Apocalypse and three favorite team members will be recast.

 

Singer signed on with Fox for the 2016 release according to Deadline and from this synopsis, fans can look forward to seeing younger versions of Scott Summers, Jean Grey and Storm.
The sequel is being scripted by Simon Kinberg from a story written by Singer, Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris.
