Marvel makes Star Wars history with the first comic book starring the galaxy’s coolest con man turned rebel hero.

This week Star Wars: Lando #1 arrives. The new limited series is by writer Charles Soule (Uncanny Inhumans) and acclaimed artist Alex Maleev (Daredevil).

OLIVIA MUNN In PSYLOCKE Swordplay for X-MEN APOCALYPSE

Olivia Munn is now on set for X-Men: Apocalypse. The actress is getting ready for her role as Psylocke and shared a new video via her Instagram.

Munn “learned some new tricks” involving swordplay.

Munn is playing the “telepathic ninja” who is an expert with real swords and has the ability to focus her psychic power into a knife and katana sword in comics.

X-Men: Apocalypse opens May, 2016.

A huge week of Spider-Man news continues as Marvel and Sony reveal the star and director of the movie reboot.

Tom Holland (The Impossible) is the new Peter Parker. Jon Watts (Cop Car) is directing.

Here’s the official Marvel announcement:

“Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are proud to announce that after a full worldwide casting search, Tom Holland will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the next Spider-Man film, in theaters in IMAX and 3D on July 28, 2017.  The film will be directed by Jon Watts, director of “Cop Car,” the upcoming thriller that made its debut earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival. CHIWETEL EJIOFOR Joins DOCTOR STRANGE?

Has Marvel conjured up an acclaimed actor to bring classic evil icon to their Doctor Strange film?

Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave, Serenity) is playing Baron Mordo in Marvel’s Doctor Strange according to Deadline.

First SPECTRE TV Spot

The first television spot for SPECTRE is here after taking aim at fans in the NBA Finals via 007.com.

This is the next look at the 24th James Bond adventure with Daniel Craig back as 007 for a fourth time.

SPECTRE follows SKYFALL, the aka the billion dollar Bond film. It took in $1.1 billion worldwide. Daniel Craig and director Sam Mendes are back for the follow-up.

“You’re got a secret,” Miss Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) says to 007 after something turns up in the ruins of Skyfall leading Bond to a mystery man first seen in Casino Royale and a super secret organization not seen since the Sean Connery era films.

Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury has been a central figure of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. From the post-credits scene in Iron Man to even appearances in this season’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Jackson’s Fury is the cinematic staple character that led to the formation of the Avengers.

But Fury is apparently not in the next big Marvel movie: Captain America: Civil War?
