Leave it to Ben Grimm ( as written by Brian Michael Bendis) to ask one of the biggest, possibly more daunting question in the Marvel universe no one else ever thought to ask!

The Infinity Gauntlet is cosmic weapon of supreme power once the Infinity Gems have been mounted. This ancient artifact is the inspiration for a one of the greatest epics in Marvel Comics history (by writer Jim Starlin) and has an ominous presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase One, Two and Three leading up the Avengers: The Infinity War I, II.

Guardians of the Galaxy #1 arrived in comic shops this week with a new team including Ben Grimm, formerly of Fantastic Four, which came to an end earlier this year. Bendis immediately captured what fans love about the Thing especially his humor. It was one line for comic relief that stuck in my head. Maybe it wasn’t just comic relief but a big hint of things to come in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now. Continue reading BEN GRIMM’s BIG QUESTION in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

The future is almost here…again.

October 21, 2015 is Back to the Future Day, the date Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) traveled into the future to in the 1989 film, Back to the Future Part II. In this fictional future, Marty is introduced to hoverboards, flying cars, and self-tying sneakers.

If you’re old enough to remember the film you might still be waiting for hoverboards and the Cubs to win the World Series.

You can get close to the “real” hoverboards from the classic sci-fi adventure.

EMP Museum (home of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame, and Infinite Worlds of Science Fiction) will celebrate this monumental day in the fictitious world of the beloved sci-fi trilogy, Back to the Future. Continue reading BACK TO THE FUTURE DAY At EMP MUSEUM With HOVERBOARDS

Is this the continuation of a new run within the 007 franchise. Sam Mendes won rave reviews for Skyfall and expectations are at an All-Time High (thanks Rita Coolidge) as Bond faces his greatest enemies in Spectre.

To celebrate the second mission for Mendes and return of Ian Fleming’s most evil creation, here’s a look back at incredible runs by directors within the 007 franchise: Continue reading SPECTRE And Directing JAMES BOND
