You may have noticed I’m obsessed with Prometheus! Ridley Scott’s return to the world of Alien is everywhere. Here’s the latest TV spot in case you missed it. I saw the trailer on the big screen in front of The Hunger Games. IFC aired Alien last night and I watched extra close as the Nostromo crew looked at the Space Jockey. Thanks to The MovieBox.Net for the tv spot below. Enjoy!

Tom Hiddleston on The Avengers

I’m ready to see Tom Hiddleston ooze evil as Loki when he reprises his Thor role in The Avengers. The star won Best Newcomer at the Empire Awards and spoke about Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in one big movie.

“‘Avengers‘ is the first of its kind because it’s a film about not one superhero, but seven or eight, all of whom are beloved already because of their first outings,” Hiddleston told Red Carpet News. “I’ve seen it once and it was a very rough cut, but it’s absolutely thrilling. It grips you on the edge of your seat from the get-go. It takes itself extremely seriously one moment and doesn’t take itself seriously at all in the next moment. It has a huge sense of humor but also real heart and action. It’s more fun than should be allowed.”

The Walking Dead Actress on Making Michonne Badass

If you think Shane and Daryl are badasses on The Walking Dead get ready to be blown away by the badassness of Michonne! Fans saw the hooded figure slice her way onto the storyline during the season finale on AMC. Right after 9 million viewers watched Michonne’s debut, creator Robert Kirkman announced Danai Gurira will play the character next season. The actress talked with The Hollywood Reporter about how the comics version will influence her on-screen portrayal.

“I’m going to develop that with [showrunner] Glen Mazzara and the whole creative team. They have their own take on the source material. I’m going to be meeting with them next week to get an understanding of what their take is and how she grows and develops. I’ll find out the answer to that in the coming weeks in terms of exactly how she will map out with what she is in the books vs. what she will be on the screen. I’ll be learning as I go in some regards. I do know that she remains an absolute badass and I will be training with katana swords. I’m really excited about that.”

The reporter asked a great question that had me thinking of a badass showdown: Shane Vs. Michonne!

Doctor Who’s New Companion from Captain America Movie

Jenna-Louise Coleman courtesy IMDB

Change is the one constant in the Doctor Who universe. The Time Lord is getting a new traveling companion. Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvall) are leaving the show. Jenna Louise Coleman will join Matt Smith next season. Coleman played Connie in Captain America: The First Avenger.

“She’s funny and clever and exactly mad enough to step on board the TARDIS. It’s not often the Doctor meets someone who can talk even faster than he does, but it’s about to happen. Jenna is going to lead him his merriest dance yet. And that’s all you’re getting for now. Who she’s playing, how the Doctor meets her, and even where he finds her, are all part of one of the biggest mysteries the Time Lord ever encounters. Even by the Doctor’s standards, this isn’t your usual boy meets girl,” Executive Producer Steven Moffatt told Spinoff Online.

Battlestar Galactica Blood and Chrome Trailer!

Luke Pasqualino courtesy IMDB

io9 posted the what’s being called a trailer for the Battlestar Galactica prequel Blood and Chrome. The story follows a young William Adama (played by Luke Pasqualino) in the first Cylon War. io9 reports SyFy ‘demoted’ the mini-series from television to the web. Take a look and see!

So Say We All? Should SyFy put this back on the network? The song used with the trailer is perfect. It’s Trent Reznor’s remake of “Immigrant Song” he made for the U.S. version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo which makes me suspect this could be a fan trailer or an in-house trailer not meant for the public. Regardless, the images looks great and I’m in!

Special Note: The man who played Admiral Adama, Edward James Olmos, will be appearing at Emerald City Comicon on Friday, March 30th.
