Bryan Singer was the Fantasia Film Festival making big announcements about Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Cyclops as far as X-Men: Days of Future Past.

In The Wolverine we saw a weakened Logan (Hugh Jackman) struggle to survive Yakuza attacks with his healing factor damaged because of the Viper. In the comic books Wolverine is now Killable and the enemies are closing in while Logan is vulnerable.

When Wein relaunched All-New, All-Different X-Men in the early 1970’s he co-created Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus and made Logan part of the revamped team.
