Mark Wahlberg says he’d like to take over the Iron Man franchise after Robert Downey, Jr.

 

In a new Yahoo interview for 2 Guns Wahlberg appears to be half joking. He says he’s never been asked to play a superhero but was once discussed to play Robin and prefers to play someone real and relatable but then points out how he starred opposite a Teddy Bear in Ted and soon with robots in Transformers 4. Bryan Singer Teases Marvel Mashup Movie

The X-Men vs. Fantastic Four?

 

Bryan Singer was the Fantasia Film Festival making big announcements about Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Cyclops as far as X-Men: Days of Future Past.

 

The director hinted at a possible Marvel Mashup movie too according to Comic Book Movie. While Fox is moving forward with a X-Force film written by Jeff Wadlow remember they are also rebooting Fantastic Four with Josh Trank directing. Matthew Vaughn is producing. WOLVERINE Is Killable

In The Wolverine we saw a weakened Logan (Hugh Jackman) struggle to survive Yakuza attacks with his healing factor damaged because of the Viper. In the comic books Wolverine is now Killable and the enemies are closing in while Logan is vulnerable.

 

Black Panther and Storm guest star in this week’s Wolverine #8 as Logan hunts for a cure in Wakanda. There will be a fight between Logan and T’Challa. If you want to know what’s fueling this feud check out Wolverine and the X-Men #24.

Quicksilver in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Director Bryan Singer revealed how he’s filming the fastest mutant on the planet in a new behind the scenes look. The director is using an innovative method to shoot Evan Peters as Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff) displays his mutant super speed.

TRUE BLOOD Star Wants FIGHT CLUB of Superhero Movies

True Blood star Joe Manganiello is rumored be among the front-runners to play the Dark Knight opposite Henry Cavill in a Superman/Batman movie.

 

The on-screen team-up looks like it will be a clash of titans before an alliance of heroes with inspiration from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.

WOLVERINE Creator On Credit, Royalties and Hugh Jackman

Wolverine creator Len Wein says he’s received more royalties from The Dark Knight Trilogy that all the X-Men movies combined. The legendary writer creator Wolverine in Incredible Hulk #181. When Wein relaunched All-New, All-Different X-Men in the early 1970’s he co-created Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus and made Logan part of the revamped team.

 

But it’s an important supporting character in the Batman family that’s meant more checks!
