CAPTAIN AMERICA Sequel Affects AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

With Steve Rogers, Black Widow, Nick Fury and introducing Falcon –  the Captain America sequel may feel like Avengers sequel. Now we know the sequel will have an impact on the Avengers sequel and more of the Disney/Marvel line.

 

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will “set critical events in motion” that will lead directly into next year’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Walt Disney Company CEO and Chairman Robert Iger according to The Wrap.
Iger also reportedly said that parts of the Captain America sequel’s plot will be reflected in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC.

Guardians of the Galaxy blasts into cinemas this summer but is Marvel already working on a sequel?

 

An untitled sequel is in the works for 2016 according to JBlo.

 

Chris Pratt as Star-Lord leads a team of aliens played by Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and the voices of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel. The James Gunn directed movie will introduce the Nova Corps, the Kree Empire, Nebula the space pirate and the Collector. Ronan the Accuser of the Kree is said to be the main villain. Time to continue our Black History Month inspired celebration of the African-America comic book heroes who I feel make an impact. Once again, let me say that fictional characters are not as important as real civil rights leaders, artists, scientists and leaders in other fields but I do think it’s important to highlight these characters. Has Marvel found a leading lady for Paul Rudd in Ant-Man?

 

Evangeline Lilly (Lost, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) is in talks for the female lead according to Variety.

LOKI’S New Mission Begins

Fans have petitioned for Loki (Tom Hiddleston) to star in his own solo movie. The trickster is getting his own comic book series this week. In Loki: Agent of Asgard imagine the God of Lies as the James Bond of the Nine Realms!
