SPIDER-WOMEN Announced at NYCC

Marvel announced Spider-Women at New York City Comic Con,

Jessica Drew, Gwen Stacy and Cindy Moon are all staring in brand new one issues as part of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now.

All three heroines will meet in a crossover event in 2016.

The original creative team (Jason Latour, Robbi Rodriguez) return for a new volume of  Spider-Gwen teasing the story of the Goblins on that Gwen Stacy’s world.

GeekGirlCon welcomes Ms. Marvel writer G. Willow Wilson and expands with new events for its fifth year.

The Seattle event celebrating the role of women in geek culture will have its inaugural fashion show, on Saturday October 10th at 8pm.

Last year’s event was a sold out smash even without major comic book creators of celebrities. This year acclaimed Seattle based writer G. Valiant Entertainment announced Faith will soar out of the pages of HARBINGER…and into an all-new series via  Comic Book Resources.

Faith “Zephyr” Herbert is a member of the team known as the Harbinger Renegades. This teen will star her first-ever solo adventure from rising star Jody Houser (Orphan Black) and explosive artists Francis Portela (Green Lantern) and Marguerite Sauvage (DC Comics Bombshells). EMERALD CITY COMICON 2016 First Guests

Two co-stars from the Scarlet Speedster’s show are coming to the Emerald City for the biggest entertainment event in the Pacific Northwest.

Emerald City Comicon announced the first celebrity guests for the 2016 event in Seattle.

Danielle Panabaker and Robbie Amell of The Flash on The CW. The two actors play torn apart lovers Caitlin Snow and Ronnie Raymond, who became DC superhero Firestorm on Season One. Panabaker is scheduled to appear Saturday and Sunday. Amell is scheduled for Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Young mutants on the run and rebelling against the X-Men?

In Once and Future Mutants we pondered the fate of the most current class of mutants students (Tempus, Triage, Goldballs, Hijack and Morph) and past “new” mutants that didn’t make it to front burner fandom.

With Marvel‘s November previews we know one Generation Hope graduate and a Jean Grey School alum are officially part of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now this Fall.

Oya and Evan is on the run with the All-New X-Men (young Iceman, Beast, Angel and X-23) in issue three.
