DC Comics revealed comics coming this May with several books starring its biggest heroes reaching issue 52.

As The New 52 reaches 52 an all-star cast of artist will create variants paying homage to the big reboot that launched the modern era of DC Comics.

Does this month of milestone issues signal the end of The New 52 and the Rebirth co-publishers have been teasing?

The Wrath of the Villains is coming then Gotham returns for a second half of season two.

Producers confirmed Azrael is coming and are giving hints about how the warrior of vengeance will be portrayed on the before Batman prequel series.

In the Fall finale, the Order of St. Dumas failed in their plot to seize Gotham City and destroy the last surviving Wayne. The Order’s Theo Galavan died.

Azrael is a title passed down in the brotherhood. This “Angel of Death” enforces The Order’s agenda and executes its vengeance.

In the comics, an adult Batman faced Azrael (Jean Paul Valley) who became an independent anti-crime crusader and even was Batman.
