Monsters are coming to Gotham City. The Batman family will unite to stop them.

Batman #1 arrived this week kicking off a new era with a new creative team for the Dark Knight. DC Comics announced the first crossover event of the DC Rebirth era coming this fall.

Bruce Wayne is back as the Dark Knight with Duke Thomas (new costume, no code name yet) as his partner in fighting crime. Dick Grayson returns to his Nightwing code name and costume. Batman and Batwoman are co-leading Detective Comics.

WONDER WOMAN 75TH ANNIVERSARY

Wonder Woman is stronger than ever as she turns 75 and is only getting better.

The most famous female super hero is going back to her origins in a brand new comic book and is getting ready to hit the big screen in a solo action movie.

The beloved hero is getting classic and trendy tributes from her own Barbie doll to a Spotify playlist.

To mark Wonder Woman’s 75th anniversary, Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC Entertainment unveiled plans for a year-long celebration of the Amazon Princess. The character transcends the pages of comics and stands as a a global symbol of justice, equality and peace.

DC will debut a new commemorative logo honoring the Princess Diana’s legacy. The relaunch of the Wonder Woman comic book series is coming soon along with new graphic novel and a new line of Wondrous fashions, toys and other exclusive merchandise. Superman is dead.

Legendary writer Dan Jurgens returns to the Man of Steel with a new mystery in this week’s Action Comics #957. With DC Comics Rebirth, Action returns to its original numbering but with two Supermen and a mystery Clark Kent.

The New 52 Superman died. Following the events of Justice League: Darkseid War, Lex Luthor is playing the hero of Metropolis.

Thanks to Convergence, the post Crisis Superman is back as the primary Superman of the DC Universe. This is the Man of Steel married to Lois Lane and now father to super son Jon Kent.

When Superman sees his his arch-enemy turned (alleged) hero soaring over Metropolis, Kal-El comes out of seclusion with his family and heads to the City of Tomorrow to confront the rival from his past.

And there’s another dangerous enemy making a comeback.

The iconic books the launched the Dark Knight and Man of Steel go in bold new directions while three iconic heroes get new beginnings as DC Comics Rebirth continues.

It’s a week so big we had to have a two sets of new comics picks of the week featuring an all DC edition of picks starting with Rise of the Batmen.

The Dark Knight and Batwoman together. Bruce Wayne and Kate Kane lead the next generation of heroes (Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown, Tim Drake and Clayface?) as a mystery predator is outdoing Batman.

The socially conscious DC Comics superhero of Seattle arrived with a thrilling story inspired by real-life issues in the Emerald City.

In the new GREEN ARROW: REBIRTH #1 one-shot, Oliver Queen is living his double life as a playboy socialite and vigilante on the streets protecting those who can’t protect themselves. The CEO of Queen Industries and social justice warrior descended into a homeless camp called “The Jungle.”

In the real Seattle, “The Jungle” is an infamous stretch of woods that earned its nickname in the 1930’s. City leaders are working on plans to clear the encampments and find a new place for its homeless residents.

In this week’s action packed story Queen finds a homeless boy crying for his mom being led away by a stranger.
