Rick Remender launched Uncanny Avengers (Captain America, Wolverine, Thor, Havok, Rogue, Scarlet Witch) in a big shocking way: a reborn Red Skull armed with the brain of Professor Xavier. I’m not ashamed to say I screamed when I saw the super villain holding the Professor’s brain above his desecrated head.

IRON MAN 3 Villain

Marvel revealed a new poster for Iron Man 3 starring Guy Pearce. The actor who played the founder of the “company” in the Alien movie mythology (Prometheus) will make scientist Aldrich Killian come of life on the big screen. Killian is a rival of Tony Stark created in the comic book classic: Iron Man: Extremis. I’m excited to see the scenes between Killian and Stark. Rebecca Hall plays Maya Hansen, another scientist on the frightening science project from nanotech hell.

Robert Downey, Jr will face Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin. Plus, we’ll see Don Cheadle reprise his role as James Rhodes but wearing the Iron Patriot armor in the sequel.

Iron Man 3 arrives May 3.
