Thanos wants something hidden on Earth. The Builders want to destroy and remake Earth. The Avengers face an impossible war in space and on the homeworld. I love the big space operas but they don’t always work so I wanted to share part of this story on how Jonathan Hickman’s series will compare.

BATMAN ZERO YEAR Becomes Zero Month

Batman Zero Year inspires a Zero Month of tie-ins this November. Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo are revealing the early days of Bruce Wayne’s transformation to the Dark Knight.

Now DC Comics is publishing more Zero Year stories starring the Batman supporting cast. When the Court of Owls unleashed an army of Talons on Gotham City, Batman’s allies rallied to stop the Talons in the Night of the Owls crossover. When the Riddler strikes it ties together this month’s tie-ins.

INFINITY Finale Preview

Infinity #1 is out this week but Marvel is already sharing a look at how the massive event will end. Infinity is the big finish to what Jonathan Hickman has built in Avengers and New Avengers.

Thanos is back. Skrulls are back. Inhumans play a huge role. Mysterious new aliens make a move on Earth. The Avengers will have to the Universe’s Mightiest Heroes to stop the Mad God of Titan and his army of alien enforcers.

Lex Luthor Is Earth’s Greatest Hero?

Lex Luthor rises up against the forces of evil? Stranger things will happen as DC Comics The New 52 undergoes huge changes in the aftermath of The Trinity War.

DC Comics revealed that The Crime Syndicate of America (evil counterparts of the Justice League from an alternate Earth) are behind the Secret Society’s plots and counter plots against the Justice Leagues. As we know the heroes are defeated and the bad guys win. September is Villains Month (each DC title will be taken over by a villain) and Forever Evil #1 by Geoff Johns and David Finch launches. WOLVERINE Is Killable

In The Wolverine we saw a weakened Logan (Hugh Jackman) struggle to survive Yakuza attacks with his healing factor damaged because of the Viper. In the comic books Wolverine is now Killable and the enemies are closing in while Logan is vulnerable.

Black Panther and Storm guest star in this week’s Wolverine #8 as Logan hunts for a cure in Wakanda. There will be a fight between Logan and T’Challa. If you want to know what’s fueling this feud check out Wolverine and the X-Men #24.
