Artist Andy Kubert returns to the world he co-created with Grant Morrison in Batman #666 in which an adult Damian is the Batman. Bruce’s son was killed as a casualty of war between the Dark Knight and Damian’s mother, Talia Al Ghul. It was part of Morrison’s endgame since taking over Batman.

James McAvoy reprises his X-Men: First Class role as Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The star praises the upcoming film and director in a new interview with IGN.

 

“There’s an army of brilliant actors in that film. Bryan Singer is back at the helm. Potentially it’s going to be the biggest, most epic X-Men they’ve ever had. It’s back to good vs. evil after a month of pure evil courtesy DC Comics Villains Month in which bad guys ruled the comic book shops with stand-alone issues starring the rogues, foes and psychos you love to hate!

 

Forever Evil #1 kicked it off with the Crime Syndicate of America declaring the Justice League was dead, rallying the villains into an army and using Nightwing as a painful example of what happens if you oppose them.

 

Bad guys from Anton Arcane to General Zod starred in wave after wave of issues that tied into the status quo of Forever Evil.

At Rose City Comic Con I said to Sam Humphries he’s made Uncanny X-Force the naughty, twisted X-Men book of the extended mutant family. To which he grinned and said “yeah!”

Simon Kinberg is moving from the Xavier mansion to the Baxter Building! Kinberg will write and co-produce Fox’s Fantastic Four reboot according to The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision.
