Two new tie-in chapters in the space opera Infinity arrived this week. I’ve loved the Avengers and New Avengers tie-ins. Reading them is like experience a director’s cut with extended scenes that enhance the overall story.

 

After a cheer-inducing (I know I yelled “YEAH!” when Thor hammered the enemy) and decisive victory against the Builders in Infinity #4 the war is far from over. Jonathan Hickman and Leinil Francis Yu pick up with war against the galaxy: a rebellion among the Kree, references to the Spaceknights and Annihilation as Captain America unleashes a desperate gambit to win the war…and fails.
