Bill Paxton signs up for duty on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The veteran actor (Aliens, Twister, Apollo 13, Titanic, Big Love) will play Special Agent John Garrett, former mentor to Agent Ward (Brett Dalton.)

DC Comics’ Scarlet Speedster is on the fast track for big exposure. The publisher revealed The Flash #30 will be the first issue by new creative team Robert Venditti and Van Jensen (Green Lantern) and artist Brett Booth via USA Today.
