What a week for comic book fans. I have so many favorites I’m expanding from 5 to a top 10 new comic book picks for this week:

 

Deadly Class #2 High school is already hell but imagine a high school for students trying to master deadly arts? Rick Remender and Wesley Craig’s twisted Image series takes us on a new kid’s first day where cutting class could get your killed. It’s a Wolverine/Spider-Man story like you’ve never seen in Wolverine #2 this week.

 

The X-Man has a new costume, weapons and job. Writer Paul Cornell and artist Ryan Stegman are the team behind the major changes in a Rogue Logan.

A new international trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 from Sony features the Rise of Electro but foreshadows tragedy for Peter Parker.

 

The latest trailer reveals the hatred and jealousy Max Dillon (Jamie Foxx) has for a Spider-Man that’s being celebrated by New York City as a great hero.

Fox is injecting youth into its Fantastic Four reboot. Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell are reportedly the studio’s choices for Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben.

 

Josh Trank (Chronicle) is directing what is likely to be a modern take that doesn’t remain completely faithful to the source.
