DC Introduces DARK MATTER, New Heroes By Superstar Teams

DARK NIGHTS: METAL is just the beginning. The reunion of Batman team Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo is just the kickoff of new banner of books with superstar creative teams.

 DC Comics Publishers Dan DiDio and Jim Lee announced (at Chicago’s C2E2) six new DC Universe titles under the banner Dark Matter.
The projects will partner acclaimed artists with award-winning writers. Beginning this August, under the guidance of artists Greg Capullo, Andy Kubert, Jim Lee and John Romita Jr., DC will launch new titles THE SILENCER, SIDEWAYS, IMMORTAL MEN, DAMAGE, NEW CHALLENGERS, with characters from each of these series first appearing in the previously announced DARK NIGHTS: METAL.
The co-publishers say The Dark Matter comics will focus on epic graphic storytelling. Joining Capullo, Kubert, Lee and Romita Jr. to round out the all-star cast of creators are Dan Abnett, Tony S. Daniel, Dan DiDio, Justin Jordan, Kenneth Rocafort, Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV and Robert Venditti.

BATMAN, THE FLASH, THE BUTTON Villain’s Return & Burning Questions

Batman #21 is the first chapter of this crossover with The Flash picking up a big bombshell from DC Universe Rebirth #1.  Bruce and Barry attempt to discover the mystery that started with the return of the other Flash.

In the epic Geoff Johns one-shot, Wally West gave Batman a letter from his father in an alternate reality and a blood-stained smiley face button was found in the Batcave. CLOAK & DAGGER First Look at FREEFORM Series

Marvel shared a first look at Cloak & Dagger, the new Freeform television series based on the fan-favorite teen vigilante heroes.

Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) are two teenagers from different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another.
Tandy creates light daggers. Tyrone can engulf others in darkness.
Here’s how they look in the iconic first comic book.
But here’s the first look of the television versions of this beloved teen duo, their origin and how the television will be different.
