Avengers and X-Men: AXIS begins this week. Alex Summers could be a pivotal hero in the war against the new Onslaught.

Rick Remender took Havok from back burner X-Man to leader of the Avengers Unity Squad two years ago in Uncanny Avengers. Now Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Children of the Atom are united against the power of the Red Skull.

Alex and Janet Van Dyne shared a love and a daughter in an alternate world that was sacrificed to defeat Kang the Conqueror and reset reality. Will that loss lead to Havok joining the Red Skull? In an earlier AXIS teaser it seemed the villain was making a direct appeal to Alex. Continue reading HAVOK In AXIS

Jada Pinkett Smith strikes like a tiger shark on Gotham as Fish Mooney. Could the mobster muscle her way into Batman comics?

Gotham reveals the origin stories of the Dark Knight’s greatest allies (Jim Gordon, Harvey Bullock, Renee Montoya, Sarah Essen) and enemies. The future Penguin, Riddler, Poison Ivy and Catwoman have been seen so far.

Producers created Fish Mooney just for the series. Jada Pinkett Smith brings the the sexy, ruthless and vicious mob boss to evil life. Fish runs the theater district under Carmine Falcone and made Oswald Cobblepot her slave until she had him “retired.” Smith and Robin Lord Taylor fittingly “stole the show” as the criminal mistress and misfit in the premiere episode. Rick Cosnett is playing Detective Eddie Thawne on The Flash.

He’s the plan standing in between Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris Allen on the new CW series.

“I really feel like he’s irritatingly awesome. He’s one of those guys where you hate him, but you can’t help falling in love with him at the same time. He’s just so flawless. He’s good at everything, he always gets what he wants, everything he touches turns to gold, he always sweeps in and saves the day… Everything just seems to end up turning out for Eddie, much to poor Barry’s dismay,” Cosnett told DC Comics.
