Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg are teaming up to upgrade a classic television icon.

The team behind Lone Survivor will work together on the Six Billion Dollar Man for Dimension according to Deadline.

Berg will direct. Wahlberg will star as Steve Austin, a former astronaut turned into a cyborg secret agent with a bionic eye, arm and legs. Lee Majors played Austin in the 1970’s television series. NATHAN EDMONDSON’S BLACK WIDOW Movie Pitch

Captain Marvel will soar past Black Widow to become the first Marvel Studios movie with a woman in the lead. Exciting news for the Carol Corps but lots of questions from fans of the assassin turned Avenger.  The passionate fan base started a #BlackWidowMovie campaign on Twitter.

SECRETS WARS MARVEL Teaser Reveal New BATTLEWORLD

It began with a teaser for a brand new Secret Wars by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic with a spectacular image by Alex Ross.

What followed what an onslaught of Summer 2015 teasers hinting of revisits to classic stories and events like Planet Hulk, Age of Apocalypse, Armor Wars, Civil War and House of M.

This week came the Everything Ends teaser for Spring 2015 implying a big bang ending and rebirth.

Now we know the story behind the teasers is here.

As Hickman counts down to the finale of Avengers, New Avengers: Time Runs Out – it sure looks like the heroes fail to stop incursions from rival Earths destroying the Marvel 616 homeworld – leading to the birth of a big new epic.

DC COMICS CONVERGENCE Reveals More Lost Heroes

Earlier this week DC Comics announced Convergence, the two-month comic book event that packed with heroes and villains from across DC Multiverse and past.

 

This is a nine-part weekly comic book series written by television writer Jeff King  and comics veteran Dan Jurgens with art by Carlo Pagulayan, Stephen Segovia and Ethan Van Sciver. Phil Coulson and his team from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. leap into a brand new ongoing series by Mark Waid.

 

Marvel shared a look inside S.H.I.E.L.D. #1. Waid says Coulson will be joined by Fitz, Simmons and Melinda May along with Avengers, X-Men and more comic book icons.
