Can’t wait for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to return?

A brand new S.H.I.E.L.D. series starring Agent Phil Coulson arrives this week.

Acclaimed writer Mark Waid (Daredevil, Captain America, Hulk) launches this new book in which any Marvel hero could be recruited by Coulson for his strike force.

“He is the coolest Marvel Comics fan ever. E-V-E-R. He’s amazing at his job, he’s badass, he’s funny—and he loves the history of the Marvel Universe as much as I do,” Waid told Marvel.com about writing Phil Coulson.

As we learned in The Avengers film, Coulson is a “fanboy” of Captain America but as an operative how does he regard the costumed heroes. Continue reading SHIELD The New Mission Begins

The bitterly divided mutant factions united for the Last Will and Testament of Xavier this year and coped with the death of Wolverine.

So let’s reflect on moments of the past when the X-Men came together to celebrate the holidays and their extended family. Continue reading HAPPY X-MEN HOLIDAYS

Marvel heroes and villains exist in the real world.

New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles are the primary cities Marvel’s good guys call home

In 2015 Ant-Man goes big time in…Miami. (cue the Will Smith song in your head!)

Scott Lang stars in a brand new Ant-Man series by Nick Spencer and Ramon Rosanas.

“I have a lot of ideas for what the Marvel Universe Miami will look like. Like Marvel New York, it’s the city you know, but bumped up. Lots of bright primary colors and neon,” Spencer said in a Marvel live chat. Continue reading ANT-MAN Big Time in Miami

Avengers and X-Men: AXIS #9

The big conclusion! X-Men allied with Apocalypse prepping to wipe out humanity. The Avengers are twisted by the inversion. A frail Steve Rogers and a squad of Marvel’s most infamous villains are Earth’s last hope. Marvel promises an X-Man will meet “a horrifying fate” and an Avenger “makes an appalling choice.” Rick Remender’s epic hit a game-changing finale and sets the stage for a shocking new Uncanny Avengers team.
