Scarlet Witch went mad and created a new reality where Magneto ruled over a planet with mutants in power in the epic by Brian Michael Bendis.

Using the power of Professor X, Wanda went into everyone’s minds to give them the wishes of their deepest dreams. Wolverine finally got all his memories back and that made him realize everything was wrong. War ensued.

When House of M ended, Wanda declared, “No More Mutants,” and wiped out the powers of millions of mutants and erased the gene.

KILLER CROC in SUICIDE SQUAD?

Producers of Suicide Squad are recruiting another Batman villain for the big screen.

Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje has been cast as Killer Croc according to The Wrap.

Croc (real name Waylon Jones)  was born with a weird medical condition giving him reptilian traitrs including hardened scale skin, sharp teeth and claws, superstrength and a healing factor. Killer Croc was created by Gerry Conway and Don Newton in Batman.

We may know which superheroes will be joining the Arrow/Flash spinoff.

Ciara Renee has been cast as Kendra Saunders aka Hawkgirl according to Deadline.

According to the report, this version of Hawkgirl is a young woman “who is just beginning to learn she’s been reincarnated over the centuries. When provoked, her ancient warrior persona manifests itself, along with wings that grow out of her back.”

Shayera Hall is another version of the character and crimefighting partner/lover of Hawkman of Thanagar.

Deadpool producers have cast newcomer Brianna Hildebrand as a very obscure character from the X-Men comics canon according to The Hollywood Reporter.

So obscure she was only seen alive for moments before she was killed off.

Grant Morrison created Negasonic Teenage Warhead during his New X-Men run. Ellie Phimister (her real name) was a telepath with precognitive abilities studying under Emma Frost in Genosha. Ellie has a vision of the population being exterminated moments before a squadron of “Wild” Sentinels attack the island nation killing six million people on the mutant haven. The Marvel Universe after Secret Wars is the great unknown for many of the publisher’s major franchises.

After seeing the All-New, All-Different Avengers and the Uncanny Inhumans lineups, fans are still wondering what about the mutants?

There’s been speculation and rumors over the future of the X-books. Brian Michael Bendis is leaving the franchise with Uncanny X-Men #600 in the same month as Secret Wars #1. While there are plenty of X-Men Battleworld books based on past events, what about the future?
