UNCANNY X-MEN #600 Delayed Until After SECRET WARS

Fans will have to wait until after Secret Wars for the finale of the Brian Michael Bendis X-Men era.

The writer confirmed via Tumblr that Uncanny X-Men #600 will not ship until October.

“…it was bumped until after secret wars for editorial and commercial reasons. not my call. this was marvel. but they have their reasons.”

“it will not effect the story or the impact of the story. in fact it may have more impact on how things shake out after my run.”

It was originally scheduled for this week.

JURASSIC PARK’S CHRIS PRATT GQ COVER GUY

Chris Pratt could be the biggest leading man of summer box-office again. After soaring as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy last summer, Pratt is battling dinosaurs in Jurassic World and he’s the GQ cover guy next month.

Not bad for the Lake Stevens, Washington native and former sitcom star.

There is no denying Pratt now but in the upcoming issue he reveals how actors would hit on Anna Faris and like he wasn’t there.

A new team rises in A-Force #1 by writers G. Willow Wilson (Ms. Marvel, X-Men) and Marguerite Bennett (Angela: Asgard’s Assassin, Lois Lane one-shot) and veteran X-Men artist Jorge Molina.

Just like Battleworld, this Avengers squad comes from different Marvel realities: She-Hulk, Dazzler, Medusa, Nico Minoru from Runaways and a cosmically powered woman named Singularity.

AGENTS OF SHIELD’S SKYE & SECRET WARRIORS Origins

Did the season finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. make you think we might be seeing more of the Secret Warriors jump from comics to television?

During the intense season Agent Skye was revealed to be an Inhuman and her real name is Daisy.

Skye/Daisy’s story didn’t exactly follow her comic book counterpart but it was close enough to excite fans of the Secret Warriors stories.

DC revealed a marketing campaign including collectibles for the dedicated fan that will be appearing in comic book shops along with the new issues.
