The Darkseid War is having a huge impact on the heroes of the Justice League. As revealed at Comic-Con each member of the team will star in Gods and Men one-shots.

In the full DC Comics October previews we see the next phase of Darkseid’s war with the Anti-Monitor plus creative team shifts. Francis Manapul (Detective Comics) is the artist on this month’s chapter and provides covers for the Gods and Men one-shots and writes the Lex Luthor story.

Where’s Kitty Pryde in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now?

The X-Woman is now a Guardian of the Galaxy.

In the official solicits for October, Marvel reveals Kitty Pryde is (Star-Lady?) in the new Guardians of the Galaxy #1.

Peter Quill left to become Emperor of the Spartax Empire. When we last saw Quill and Kitty they became engaged after surviving the events of The Black Vortex crossover.

Han Solo’s co-pilot gets the spotlight in his own comic book series and he’s getting his own new sidekick.

It was all part of the huge news for Star Wars and Chewie fans during Comic-Con. The other was seeing Peter Mayhew in and out of costume in a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens reel.

Marvel announced a Star Wars:  Chewbacca limited series by Gerry Duggan and Phil Noto. Chewbacca crash lands on a strange new planet for his own adventure and make new allies while dodging the Empire.
