The woman who helped introduce Star-Lord, Groot, Gamora, Drax and Rocket to the big screen will do the same for the cosmic Avenger.
Marvel makes it official:
Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve will write the script for the Captain Marvel movie featuring Carol Danvers.
Perlman co-wrote Guardians of the Galaxy and is scheduled to write a Gamora spinoff comic book. LeFauve wrote the next Disney/Pixar film Inside Out.
Captain Marvel is set to blast off in cinemas November 2, 2018. No official word on when Carol may have a cameo on a Marvel film.
