Marvel Editor Ben Morse shared this cover via Twitter for the All-New, All-Different Avengers #4 coming in January 2016 with the declaration “Earth’s Mightiest Kiss” with the two heroes embracing in flight.
The new Captain America and Thor are members of the new Avengers team including Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, Vision, Nova and Miles Morales, the new Spider-Man from the Ultimate Universe.
For new readers, Steve Rogers lost his powers when the Super Soldier Serum was sucked out of his body. The now elderly and frail Rogers asked his longtime friend and former partner to step up as the new Cap. When the Odinson became “unworthy” a Goddess of Thunder emerged. Thor’s identity was one of the biggest mysteries of last year. Thor’s former lover, Dr. Jane Foster, was revealed to be the new Thor and she is fighting breast cancer.
