BLINK Is Back For New EXILES

Blink is back! So are the Exiles!

The mutant is played by Jamie Chung on Fox’s THE GIFTED. Now the teleporter is joining a new EXILES this Spring. The rest of the team line-up is a surprise sparking big questions.

Who’s on the time-traveling team?

Marvel announced Saladin Ahmed (BLACK BOLT) and artist Javier Fernandez will launch a new version of the EXILES. Blink will join Khan, Iron Lad, Wolvie and an unrevealed hero to save the past, present and future.

Who’s bringing this squad of unusual suspects together? The Unseen aka the man once known as Nick Fury who now observes Earth from the moon. During the ORIGINAL SIN event Fury sort of became the new Watcher after Uatu was killed.

X-fans know Blink as the mutant who keeps making comebacks. You could call her the James Dean of mutants maybe?

Claire Ferguson was among the mutants discovered during the PHALANX COVENANT story. Aliens were stalking new mutants. The survivors (Monet, Husk, Skin, Chamber) became the original GENERATION X team. Clarice died in battle with the techno-organic alien named Harvest.

During the alternate reality event AGE OF APOCALYPSE, Blink is still alive and a member of Magneto’s X-Men fighting in a world ruled by En Sabah Nur. The fan-favorite even scored her own limited series set in that alternate reality.

Blink then joined the first EXILES, heroes from different realities sent on missions to restore broken timelines.

During the NECROSHA event, Selene pulled Blink out of nowhere to join her war against X-Force. Clarice didn’t die in the battle with the Phalanx but was trapped in another realm.

Who are the other members?

Wolvie is a cartoon version of Logan.

Khan is a future version of Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan.

Iron Lad was a founding member of the Young Avengers, who turned out to be a younger version of Kang the Conqueror.

Could the mystery member be from the cast of Ahmed’s BLACK BOLT book? The Inhuman King made new allies and enemies in an alien prison.

EXILES launched in April.
