With the King set to enter the Infinity War in just a new months, let’s break down what happened, what it means.

Before we continue here’s a SPOILER ALERT!

If you haven’t seen BLACK PANTHER yet stop reading now and rush to a cinema!

Seriously.

OK.

Here it comes.

Wakanda and the World!

King T’Challa and his encourage are about to address the United Nations revealing the truth about Wakanda. Is the world ready for a sudden surprise super power? While some countries and people will welcome the Wakandan outreach, others will see a threat and a power to seize. We know aliens will invade Wakanda in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR but could a future Black Panther sequel center on other nations from Marvel canon?

The alliances and rivalries between T’Challa, Namor and Doctor Doom are legendary – imagine Game of Thrones with super powers. Could the success of Panther led to the introduction of Namor the Submariner – King of Atlantis? Wakanda has war dogs out in the world. Atlantis has sleeper agents among civilization too. Let’s not forget the evil corporations and secret societies (Roxxon, AIM) who want all that vibranium! And there’s a story I’m still waiting for – how did S.H.I.E.L.D. get vibranium for Cap’s shield in World War II?

White Wolf

In the CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR post-credits, Winter Soldier went into deep freeze in Wakandan labs until he could be healed and Steve Rogers appeared to be given refuge by T’Challa. In the final scene, Bucky awakens with children calling him White Wolf. Has Shuri healed Bucky’s fractured mind? Is Bucky free of his Winter Soldier programming? Is there an attraction between Bucky and Shuri?

White Wolf is an actual character in comics. White Wolf is the alter ego of a man named Hunter, a white man orphaned in the jungle and raised as T’Challa’s half-brother. Hunter becomes a villain after jealousy drives him to fight for the throne but later he reforms to become leader of Wakanda’s secret police.

Given Iron Man’s hatred of Winter Soldier for the mission the ended in the death of his parents, it’s best Bucky stays in Wakanda. Could Bucky become T’Challa’s lieutenant in AVENGERS INFINITY WAR as Thanos’s alien armies invade?

Stay tune for more of Bucky and Shuri’s story in the the AVENGERS INFINITY WAR Prelude comic book and when the big movies hits May 4th.
