Bill Paxton signs up for duty on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The veteran actor (Aliens, Twister, Apollo 13, Titanic, Big Love) will play Special Agent John Garrett, former mentor to Agent Ward (Brett Dalton.)

He’s a wonderful human being, and a genuine pleasure to be around.”
In the comics John Garrett was introduced in the legendary Elektra: Assassin limited series and later reunited with Nick Fury in Secret Warriors.
Bill Paxton’s first appearance as Garrett on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is March 4th on ABC.
