DC Comics revealed new creative teams for their super teen books:
Legendary Marv Wolfman (Teen Titans) becomes the Superboy writer starting with issue artist Andres Guinaldo. Wolfman’s first issue co-written by Frank Hannah finds Superboy “lost in time with the Teen Titans as he comes to some startling revelations about both his origins and his future. Can he and the team rescue Kid Flash and find the way back to their own era?”
Supergirl kicks off a new arc with writer Tony Bedard and artists Yildiray Cinar and Ray McCarthy. After the conclusion of “Krypton Returns,” this first issue “centers around Supergirl arriving back on Earth with a new mission and a clearer understanding of her place in the universe. But a striking new foe prepares to welcome Supergirl home: Lobo!*”
Superboy and Supergirl #26 arrive in December.
Marc Andreyko was named new Batwoman writer by DC Comics’ Dan DiDio this weekend at Baltimore Comic-Con starting with issue 25 according to Comic Book Resources. Haden Blackman and J.H. Williams III left the book last week over editorial differences.
*Look for Justice League #23.2 Lobo this Wednesday.
