An original Battlestar Galactica reunion will be a highlight at the back to basics comic show of the Pacific Northwest! Jet City Comic Show announced Richard Hatch will appear at the event on November 8, 2014 in Tacoma. Hatch joins previously announced special guest Dirk Benedict.
The two actors played pilots Apollo and Starbuck on the original Battlestar Galactica television series. Yes, the men who flew Colonial Vipers will touch down at Jet City Comic Show.
Hatch appeared on the Sy Fy Channel reboot of the classic series as political leader Tom Zarek. Benedict followed up his role as Starbuck with another iconic television role as Templeton “Faceman” Peck on The A-Team.
Hatch is making his first appearance at Jet City and first visit to Washington since 1999. Benedict wowed fans at Emerald City Comicon 2 years ago. Benedict has Washington ties. He attended college in Walla Walla and performed with the Seattle Repertory Theatre before heading to Hollywood.
Hatch and Benedict will join a group of comic book artists and writers for autographs, photo opportunities and to geek out about the classic sci-fi show and favorite comics.
The Jet City Comic Show is October 8, 2014 at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center.
