A big week for the next generation of the Batman family. We’ve speculated on who will be the next Robin and it’s time for a major update on our Robin Roundup given this week’s big issues.

Damian Wayne is back. Bruce’s odyssey to find his murdered son’s body took him around the Earth and into Apokolips. After a battle and escape from Darkseid, Bruce resurrected Damian but the child is not the same.

In Batman and Robin #38 it’s a whole new dynamic for the duo. Damian has super powers as a result of the resurrection. Bruce’s ability to control his son was a challenge when he was a normal human.

(Well, if you’re raised to be the greatest assassin by Talia Al Ghul and the League of Assassins you’re not exactly normal.) Can Bruce control a super powered child? Is Damian truly free of Darkseid’s influence? Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason take their Batman and Robin epic into a whole new direction.

Damian is back as Robin but there’s no guarantee he keep that role as the Dark Knight’s

There’s a much anticipated debut this week in Batman Eternal #42.

Ever since Harper Row saved Batman in Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s first New 52 arc (Batman 7) she became a fan favorite to become the next Robin.

In Batman #28 we saw a future in which the tough teen from the Narrows is fighting with the Dark Knight but with a brand new code-name. This week Bluebird makes her debut. The story is building up to Batman and Bluebird confronting Selina Kyle over Stephanie Brown – the key to saving Gotham City. (Dustin Nguyen designed Harper’s Bluebird look.) See Bluebird in action for the first time in this Batman Eternal #42 preview.

These are books to watch for the future of Damian and Harper. The other members of our Robin Roundup (Anna, Duke, Carrie, Lark, Cullen) are “off the canvas” for now.

Damian and Bluebird are two of 15 characters to watch in 2015. See who else made the list.

Who would you like to see become the official new sidekick of Batman?
