Monsters attack in the the first crossover of DC Rebirth.
The adventure kicks off this week in Batman #7 and Nightwing #5.
Night of the Monster Men is guided by “showrunner” Steve Orlando (Supergirl, Midnighter) and hits Batman, Nightwing and Detective Comics in September and October.
“As a huge storm approaches, Batman, Batwoman and Nightwing try to prepare Gotham City for the worst, but nothing can prepare them for ht enourmous tall monsters rampaging through the streets. Batman will need all of his allies to unite in order to stop tehse mad science monsters from tearing their city apart.”
The crossover brings back one of Batman’s oldest villains. If you’re reading Batman, you’ve seen him. In Tom King’s first Batman arc, Professor Hugo Strange and Psycho Pirate’s victims warned, “the Monster Men are coming” but as we saw with that shocking story – there are more villains pulling the strings.
Who is behind the Monster Men?
The mystery begins this New Comic Book Wednesday with the first two chapters by Orlando, King and Tim Seeley with artists Riley Rossmo, Roge Antonia with covers by Yanick Paquette.
