Imagine an episode of the Adam West starring Batman series written by sci-fi legend Harlan Ellison?

The Two-Way Crimes of Two-Face would have introduced the villain Two-Face into the 1960’s series and now the script will finally be published according to The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision.

The unmade Batman script will be part of a fifth collection of Ellison’s teleplay The Brain Movies collections including scripts for the Logan’s Run television series. The same year the script was turned down, Ellison’s The City on The Edge of Forever became a Star Trek classic.

The Adam West and Burt Ward series is celebrated in a new comic book series, Batman ’66 by writer Jeff Parker and artist Jonathan Case. With the success of the series and overall Batman ’66 line – maybe Ellison’s script could be turned into a graphic novel?

Makes you wonder how many other unpublished scripts are out there?

Two-Face is currently co-headlining Batman and Two-Face by Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason.
