BATMAN And SUPERMAN Hunt the Secret Six

Who are The Secret Six? They’re big and bad if they bring two of DC’s iconic heroes together.

A twisted new mystery brings The Dark Knight and The Man of Steel together in a brand new book. DC Comics announced (first via Heat Vision) a new BATMAN/SUPERMAN title by writer Joshua Williamson and artist David Marquez.

The first arc follows the heroes hunting down six infected heroes in the DC Universe – infected with a pathogen that turns them into an evil version of themselves. The infection is courtesy of The Batman Who Laughs.

Fans may recall in DARK NIGHTS: METAL, an army of evil Batmen escaped the Dark Multiverse. The Batman Who Laughs was the most terrifying doppelganger because this Dark Knight had merged with The Joker.

In THE BATMAN WHO LAUGHS mini-series by Scott Snyder and Jock the Dark Knight is heading for a final showdown for the Jokerized version of himself. DC revealed the story will expand to a seventh chapter leading to the new book.

BATMAN/SUPERMAN marks David Marquez’s first big project for DC after iconic Marvel epics including CIVIL WAR II and THE AVENGERS. Williamson has been on THE FLASH since DC REBIRTH and penned the JUSTICE LEAGUE/SUICIDE SQUAD team up title.

BATMAN/SUPERMAN #1, written by Williamson and Marquez with colors by Dave Stewart, hits August 14, 2019. BATMAN/SUPERMAN #1 cover is by Marquez and Alejandro Sánchez with a variant cover by Leinil Yu.
