Before the movie version of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes return in Avengers: Age of Ultron in May, the comic book counterparts feel Ultron’s rage.
Marvel shared the cover and preview pages for Avengers: Rage of Ultron, an original graphic novel by Rick Remender (AXIS, All-New Captain America), Jerome Opena and Dean White coming in April.
“(The) cover holds a ton of secrets,” Remender told Marvel.com. “There are Avengers from two different eras, and the story takes place in both of those eras.
The positioning of the characters holds a deeper meaning than anyone will be able to guess until they read the series as well. This is some of Jerome and Dean’s best work and the story promises to be nothing short of Earth shattering for the Avengers.
“And Starfox. Don’t forget Starfox.”

This will be Ultron’s first appearance since the Age of Ultron event of 2013.
