The Chitauri invade the Marvel Universe (again!) They were Loki’s army in the big screen version of The Avengers now these alien warriors are after the rookie of the Marvel Now. Watch for Nova #4 this week by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness.
In Sam Alexander’s first adventure the new Nova was trained by Gamora and Rocket Raccoon of Guardians of the Galaxy.
The new kid under the helmet will need all the help he can get as Chitauri warriors strike! With guest appearances like these could this be a sign that Nova could could part of Marvel’s Cinematic Phase Two or Three?
The Chitauri were introduced in The Ultimates as a version of the Skrulls in Marvel’s Ultimate Universe. This upcoming issue will mark the mainstream Marvel Comics debut of the aliens.
