Marvel’s April 2015 previews are packed with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes of past, present and future with titles ending and new stories beginning.
Avengers: Ultron Forever by Al Ewing and Alan Davis in a future story in which Ultron rules, Doctor Doom recruits his own Avengers team through time to dethrone Ultron. The story continues in New Avengers: Ultron Forever #1 also this month.
Avengers: Operation Hydra #1 one-shot by Will Corona Pilgrim and Andrea DiVito stars the Marvel Cinematic Avengers vs. a Hydra splinter cell.
Avengers: Millenium #1-4 by Mike Costa and Carmine DiGianomenico is a four-part story in which the heroes discover a time portal at a remote Hydra base that will lead them to fight a doomsday weapon in the future.
The previously announced Avengers #44, New Avengers #33 are the final issues of Jonathan Hickman’s epic run leading to Secret Wars next month.
Secret Avengers #15 by Ales Kot and Michael Walsh sure feels like the final issue although it’s not listed that way but it does say “comes to its natural conclusion. Prepare your handkerchiefs.”
Avengers World #19, #20 arrive this month with the ominous tease “the fall of the Avengers” but no word if this book ends too.
Are any of these teams surviving to appear in the All-New, All-Different Avengers Marvel teased Friday?
We’ll know more tomorrow in the Secret Wars announcement.
