Hold on Hank Pym and Wasp fans!
Marvel revealed the title of the Avengers sequel will be MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON!
Writer/director Joss Whedon has clarified two things about the sequel.
1. It’s not based on the recent Age of Ultron limited series by Brian Michael Bendis and an all-star roster of artists according to Comic Book Movie.
2. Founding Avenger and Ultron creator Hank Pym is NOT in the movie. While Wasp (Janet Van Dyne) wasn’t mentioned we could assume: No Hank, No Jan but as we’ve seen by this update…anything is possible.
So if Hank Pym doesn’t create Ultron…who does?
Maybe it’s part of the long-term strategy from the big bad behind Loki’s invasion in the first film – Thanos!
