The X-Men franchise is evolving into a new television series on Fox.
The network has made a put pilot commitment on a new X-Men series from writer Matt Nix (Burn Notice) according to Variety. Nix will be executive producer in the partnership between Fox and Marvel Television including X-Men film franchise veterans Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg and Marvel Television’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.
Fox and Marvel reached an agreement to produce Legionand Hellfire series to air on FX. In the comics Legion is the son of Professor X. The Hellfire Club are old enemies of the X-Men. The Hellfire project is not moving forward according to Variety. Legion will arrive in early 2017 on FX.
