Iron Man 3 is taking over the world and Tony Stark is playing a critical role in Marvel’s next big comic book epic! Tony stars in Avengers and New Avengers as Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Illuminati fight to protect our world from alternative worlds obliterating ours. Both team books are building up to Infinity in which the Marvel Universe battles Thanos.

The new Star Wars comic book series from Dark Horse Comics is thrilling fans with new stories set after events in Star Wars: A New Hope. Leia is flying X-wings and uncovering Imperial spies. Luke is flirting with another pilot. Han and Chewbacca are on a secret mission. Writer Brian Wood reveals Han Solo is the most fun to write in an interview with Comic Book Resources.
“It’s kind of fun writing him being a dick and with his sarcasm and banter back and forth with Chewbacca,” Wood said and it’s easy to hear Harrison Ford’s voice in his head.

DC Comics shared a sneak peek inside the Earth 2 Annual #1 featuring the debut of this world’s Dark Knight.
“He’s a huge part of ‘Earth 2,’ he’s going to be a huge part of the DC Universe, and everything he does from the Annual onward will have huge implications for the DC Universe,” writer James Robinson told MTV GEEK. “This isn’t some new person coming in to be Batman. This is definitely a part of Batman lore.”

As Iron Man 3 dominates the global box-office fans wonder if Robert Downey Jr will return as Tony Stark in Avengers 2 or a possible Iron Man 4. The acclaimed actor recently talked about his future after the latest film in GQ.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige compares Stark to James Bond and speculates on Downey’s future as the Armored Avenger in a Huffington Post story:
