Evan Peters of American Horror Story has been cast as Quicksilver in X-Men Days of Future Past. The casting news came from – you guessed it – director Bryan Singer revealed via Twitter.
Quicksilver is the son of Magneto who later joins the Avengers along with his sister Scarlet Witch. Fox holds the film rights to the X-Men. Disney/Marvel holds the rights to the Avengers. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said both studios could use the characters.

The first celebrity for 2014’s Emerald City Comicon is a Star Trek icon! Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura of the classic series) will appear next year’s event all three days.
