Earth’s Mightiest Heroes unite in an original graphic novel by legendary writer Warren Ellis and artist Mike McKone this October. Wolverine and Captain Marvel will join the “cinematic” Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Black Widow in a brand new, stand-alone novel. Marvel shared a first look at McKone’s art while Ellis and Executive Editor Tom Brevoort talked about the origin of this exciting new adventure: Avengers: Endless Wartime.

There’s a Ronin on the roster. Echo (Maya Lopez) and Hawkeye (Clint Barton) wore the Ronin identity during the New Avengers era.
Who is the new Ronin?
“Ronin is the character find of 2013. We batted around some ideas for him with putting on the Ronin suit. We’ll find out in issue #1 why we can’t know who he is. I feel like even revealing his gender I’ve said too much. This is the man who will be Ronin. His mystery will be explored in the first year,” said Mighty Avengers writer Al Ewing.
Zach Snyder (300, Man of Steel) returns as a producer of 300: Rise of An Empire – the sequel to the hit film based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel – it will feature back story of the Persian King who invaded Greece. Eva Green (Casino Royale) joins Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) and Rodrigo Santoro from the first film Warner Brothers released the first trailer here:

John Stewart takes center stage in Green Lantern Corps #21 out this week. Robert Venditti and Van Jensen take over the book in a month of new creative teams on all Green Lantern books. DC Comics shared this look Bernard Chang’s art featuring John Stewart and Star Sapphire. For many GL fans Stewart was their first Lantern so it will exciting to see him take command of the title.
