X-O Manowar’s actions will inspire the creation of Valiant’s first super group inUnity #1.
Valiant share a first look at X-O Manowar #16 by Robert Venditti and Lee Garbett.
Before UNITY in November, witness the march toward the big showdown as X-O Manowar claims a sovereign nation as his own – and incites the wrath of the Eternal Warrior.
“Once they were brothers-in-arms, comrades sworn to the same cause. But now that X-O Manowar has occupied the ancestral lands of his people in modern day Romania, they’ll find themselves on opposing sides of a battle for the very fate of civilization itself. As the world watches, two of Valiant’s most fearsome heroes will meet once again – and the outcome of their latest clash will decide the fate of us all.” Continue reading X-O MANOWAR Road to UNITY
The evil entity Eclipso haunts The New 52 in Villains Month.
The body-snatching force has taken different forms and turned up all over the DC Universe.
This September in Justice League Dark #23.2: ECLIPSO “he takes his most dangerous form yet.”
“In the shattered genius Gordon Jacobs, Eclipso’s found himself the perfect host — a brilliant man seething with disappointment, and too broken-down to exert any control over the most powerful evil in creation! How far will Eclipso make Gordon Jacobs go? And who’s next in his sights?” says Editor Bob Harras. Continue reading Eclipso Is Back
Otto Octavius will encounter a truly Superior Spider-Man. Miguel O’Hara aka Spider-Man 2099 guest stars in a 3-part epic kicking off in Superior Spider-Man #17.
Batman #23 is the best chapter yet in Zero Year as we experience the moment Bruce becomes the Bat.
You think you the story of Batman but Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo are making the origin exciting, gripping and new.
We jump right into a violent confrontation between Bruce and the Red Hood Gang. Snyder and Capullo messed with Bruce with cruel, creepy, manipulative methods through the Court of Owls and Joker in their previous arcs. The Red Hood Gang leader sadistically beats Bruce physically and emotionally as he shares the twisted connection between them and the night his parents were murdered. Marvel is giving the fans what they want: more LOKI!
To fight the threat of Malekith the Accursed, Thor turns to his half-brother in his upcoming big screen adventure. The latest trailer shows Loki, Thor, Lady Sif and the Warriors Three in action together.
An all-different Valkyrie and always badass Misty Knight welcome a new lethal lady to the team in Fearless Defenders #8 by Cullen Bunn and Will Sliney with another stunning Mark Brooks cover showing off Val’s new uniform.
The trio of Valkyrie, Misty and Dr. Annabelle Riggs (along with Dani Moonstar and Hippolyta) triumphed in their first arc but with a terrible price. Annabelle died by a possessed Valkyrie and now the two share a body. The dueling duality is another great twist by Bunn that provides more drama and humor to this team.
With a cosmic level event like Infinity you know the Silver Surfer would be swimming in the chaos. Marvel announced the Sentinel of the Spaceways will star in a Marvel Infinite comic. Infinity: Against the Tide by Jason Latour and Augustin Alessio will star the former Herald of Galactus.
As you can see by the preview art the Silver Surfer will encounter The Builders and we see the Skrulls under attack. The shapeshifting aliens will appear in Infinity tie-in issue: Avengers #18.
One of my favorite creators is taking on the ultimate X-Man. Phil Jimenez will draw and write a two-part story kicking off in Savage Wolverine #12 this November.
The fan-favorite artist has amazing runs with Grant Morrison on New X-Menand Warren Ellis on Astonishing X-Men. Jimenez tells Marvel.com a preview of his upcoming story and how it’s based on an issue from way back in the Chris Claremont era.
