Peter Quill flies solo in Legendary Star-Lord #1 this week. The leader of Guardians of the Galaxy stars in his own title by Sam Humphries (Uncanny X-Force, Avengers A.I.) and Paco Medina.

Andy Serkis (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Lord of the Rings) is a motion-capture consultant on Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars VII and now reveals he has an expanded role in the Marvel sequel according to Variety.
“The Imaginarium is the performance capture consultant, and I’m playing a role in both films. On The Avengers, I’ve been working closely with Mark Ruffalo,” Serkis said.
The breakout star of the Guardians of the Galaxy blasts off in his own in-continuity solo book this week.
